UNC Health Care Wayne seeking a board certified or board eligible Psychiatrist.

UNC Psychiatry at Goldsboro is a busy outpatient Psychiatry clinic that was started in 2009, and is in a modern building built in 2013 with 5 provider offices for patient care.   You will be joining a practice with currently one other Psychiatrist, one APP and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. The retiring Psychiatrist will be leaving an existing patient panel.


Services and Responsibilities:

  • Mood disorders including bipolar disorder and major depression
  • Psychotic disorders including schizoaffective disorder and schizophrenia
  • Anxiety disorders including general anxiety and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)
  • Provide daytime coverage for the hospital

  • After hours call coverage is for the practice only.
